P3 have been busy!

Hello Everyone!

Apologies we have not posted in a while- we have just been so busy! (As you're about to see with all our photos) 💃

This is our final term before moving from infants and becoming juniors (aaahhhhh!) We have some fun activities lined up and even more hard work to complete before finishing off primary 3. Some of our main areas this term are Space, HWB, science and our favourites- maths and literacy.

We have been -and will be- learning lots of new skills in our final term; from mastering our times tables to learning how to write in joined up and speaking in Spanish...

We have planned and prepared a trip to Space. For those who prefer to stay a bit closer to home we are also brightening up our play ground by planting and growing some new flowers.

There will be lots happening this term and we can't wait to get stuck in! Stay tuned. ☺👍

After such an enjoyable trip to the Science Center in term 3 we decided to learn more about Space in term 4. That led us on to many science experiments and maths lessons that helped us with our journey.

The Science Center isn't just for kids y'know!

We experimented with different resources to create moon craters and discussed what kind of things we might see in Space.

Now that we know what to expect in Space we prepared the appropriate outfit so we could 'travel' there. Our space helmets helped with the lack of oxygen up there... I know what you're thinking- Space looks an awful lot like Clydemuir's playground. We found that surprising too.

In between our trips to Space we've found some time to do other cool stuff, like how to measure, planting sunflowers and celebrating World Book Week.

P3's fantastic world book day efforts.

and to finish of this post we would like to give a mention to one of our class mates- Matthew. Matthew received a very cool trophy for competing and winning the Greenock Wanderes Rugby tournament.
